Stanley Dean Zink was born July 27, 1933 to Ruth Kinyon and Andrew Zink on the family farm where Stanley called home his entire life. Stanley passed from this world May 24, 2016 at Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton City, Missouri.
He graduated from Appleton School in 1951 and later served in the Korean War. Stanley worked as a mechanic and meat cutter as well as maintenance and carpentry. He could fix most anything. Stanley retired from Jack Cooper Transport in Kansas City, Missouri in 1993. He spent the remainder of his life on the family farm.
Stanley is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Evelyn Dines; 2 sons Paul and David and an infant granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marjorie Zink; 3 daughters, Pamela of Texas, Melaine of Kansas, Stacy of Clinton, Missouri, 1 son, Jerry Peterson; 4 grandchildren, nieces and nephews
No services are planned at this time. Cremation was under the direction of the Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home in Osceola, Missouri.
