James C. “Charlie” Coleman of El Dorado Springs, MO. passed away peacefully on December 15, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. with his children at his side.
James was born July 13, 1962, in El Dorado Springs, MO. to be the second child, and only son of Kenneth and Eva (Schiereck) Coleman. James is proceeded in death by his father “Kenny”; Grandparents Charles and Mildred Coleman, and Wilbur and Mary Schiereck.
During school James was employed at Chicken Marys, and Skelly Service Station. After graduating in 1980 from El Dorado Springs High School, James worked at Woods Supermarket in town until taking a job at 3M in Nevada. He was employed there until 2001. James later opened a flea market outside of El Dorado, and ran it until unable. James always enjoyed visiting with customers and was full of stories and jokes.
When James was young he enjoyed hunting quail and coons, fishing, and playing golf and softball. In the later years, James lived vicariously through his children and was always eager to hear about fishing trips, jobs, hunts, or various sporting activities.
James is survived by his mother, Eva Coleman, of El Dorado Springs, MO.; sister, Kathy Coleman of Pensacola FL.; son, Jesse Coleman of El Dorado Springs, MO.; and daughter Lakyn Coleman of El Dorado Springs, MO.
