Hazel Lee Sanders was born August 27, 1922 to Fred and Mayme (Malicoat) Jackson in Monegaw Springs, Missouri. She passed away on September 13, 2014.
She married William Sanders and they had 1 son Billy Joe Sanders born in December 1940.
Hazel worked at an aircraft assembly plant during World War II, then worked for Parmlee Plastics building safety glasses until her retirement in 1987. She lived most of her adult life in the Kansas City area. She had a massive stroke at age 90 and lived the remainder of her life at New Mark Care Center in Kansas City, Missouri until her death.
She is survived by her son, Bill Sanders and wife Diane; 3 grandchildren, Michael Sanders, Lisa Malloy and husband Michael and Liane Brown and husband Michael; 5 great grandchildren, Christopher Allen, Angela Allen, Whitney Brown, Jacob Brown, and Quinton Brown; 1 great-great grandchild, Jace Koch, all who live in the Kansas City Area; 1 sister, Frances Elizabeth Simpson of Great Bend, Kansas; a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews, along with many friends.
