Obituary
Following the service at 5 PM on Friday the family will host a meal at Gary and Joyce Noakes.

Dennis Wayne Noakes was born to Edgar and Joan (Sherman) Noakes on January 29, 1956. He was the FFA and Class President at Lowry City High School and graduated with the class of 1974. After graduation he settled in the Lowry City area for the rest of his life. For many years he farmed his land, helped other farmer and assisted with the building of several homes.

Dennis was a man full of life, fun, and laughter. Even to his final day he was pulling pranks and making those around him laugh. He taught his girls the joys of humor, farming, car-hooding, fishing, mushroom and asparagus hunting, dune buggies, fish fries, and so many of the other best things in life. He will be remembered very much for his humor and love of fun.

Dennis enjoyed being active and outdoors. He would hunt and fish. He knew where all the good asparagus grows. He planted a large garden each year, boasting the earliest and best tomatoes. It gave him pleasure to feed everyone he knew with his amazing produce. When he gathered it all up, Dennis enjoyed turning it into delicious meals or canning it for later. He was a very skilled carpenter and immensely enjoyed it. Dennis began refinishing antique furniture and then building his own beautiful pieces.

Dennis is survived by his three daughters, Kristi Noakes Hill of Dubuque, Iowa, her husband Michael and their children, Emma, Isaiah and Elizaeth; Kimerly Noakes McClure (Jason) of Appleton City , and her son, Aaron, and Kayla Noakes, Of Lincoln, Nebraska; his brothers, Jimmy and Gary Noakes and their families; and lots of friends.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his uncle and aunt, Ted and Wanda Noakes and many friends
