Nancy Mae Cone was born January 8, 1937 to Halver and Neoma McConnel in Rich Hill, Missouri. She passed away at her home in Lowry City, Missouri on March 22, 2014.
She attended school in Foster and Rich Hill, Missouri. At the age of 16 she married Stanley LeeMasters and lived in Butler, Missouri for about 40 years. To this union three children were born, Sammy LeeMasters of Butler, Patty Stevens of Duluth, Minnesota and Michael LeeMasters of Butler, Missouri.
During this time Nancy worked at cleaning homes for many people in Butler and had a small business of caning chairs.
In later years she moved to the St. Clair County area while here she met and married Kenneth Stewart and she helped with their farm and together they built several homes in and around the Lowry City area until his passing.
Nancy then met Charles Cone and in 2011 they were united in marriage.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and her husband Kenneth Stewart.
Nancy is survived by her husband Charles, of the home; brother Harold McConnell and his wife Modena of Poteau, Oklahoma; her sister Dorothy Welch and husband John of Lowry City, Missouri and her three children, Sammy LeeMasters of Butler, Missouri, Patty Stevens and husband Lance of Duluth, Minnesota and Michael LeeMasters and wife Debby of Butler, Missouri along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed visiting with her friends and going to the Landmark restaurant for meals and to talk with her friends and spend time with her good friend Glenda.
She attended church at the Church of God Holiness in Lowry City, Missouri and appreciated all the thoughts and prayers that were given on her behalf. Nancy was a quiet person and liked to keep things neat and in order. She will be missed by all that knew her.
