Obituary
Larry Don Osborn, age 64, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed away on November 25, 2013 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born on December 26, 1948 in Butler, Missouri to Shirley (Reynolds) Osborn and George Simmons.

He went to school and graduated from Butler High School in 1966. After graduation, Larry was drafted into the Army where he trained as a medic in 1969 at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. Larry furthered his education at a Tech School 1973- 1974 in Thomasville, Georgia; and then Graff Area Vo-Tech School of Respiratory from 1975-1978.

He married Ramona Williams on December 30, 1967. To this union two children were born, Jennifer Osborn on October 22, 1974 and Julie Osborn on August 11, 1976. On April 10, 1993, Larry married Vicki Morris and gained two more daughters, Elizabeth and Jennie. Together, they lived in their beautiful home outside of El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Reynolds.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki of twenty years; his four daughters, Jennifer Meschke and husband, Ryan, of Springfield, Missouri, Julie Mingus and husband, Jeff, of Forsyth, Missouri, Elizabeth Anderson and husband, Aaron, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and Jennie Balzer and husband, Jason of Colorado Springs, Colorado; nine grandchildren, Cleo, Kera, Naudiya, Ariel, Kaden, Michael, Adea, John, and Bridgette; sister, Kathy Osborn in Nevada, Missouri; his brother, Rick Osborn of Joplin, Missouri as well as many nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and colleagues.

Larry was a wonderful man, always full of life and he had many friends. He loved his job as a respiratory therapist and was always willing to help others in community projects. He enjoyed reading, carpentry, cooking, fishing and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.
