In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to the Alzeihmers Association left in care of the funeral home.
Joyce Anna Mae Carroll of Osceola, Missouri was born August 6, 1942 to Albert and Goldie McBride in Humansville, Missouri. She passed away October 20, 2013 at the Big Springs Care Center in Humansville, Missouri.
She was a bus driver, a nurse, even drove semi trucks! Joyce was a mother and wife first and was a free spirit. She loved to travel where ever she could, but after being married to Charles for 17 years, they divorced and then she re-married Charles E. Carroll and settled down to build a farm and a home that even to this day keeps her memory alive
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Goldie McBride; one brother, Ray McBride; her late husband Charles Edwin Carroll and her son Charles Allen Carroll.
She was survived by her live in companion Wayne Stier; two sons, James Roy Carroll and Bobby Eugene Carroll; two sisters, Wilma Evans of Humansville and Ginger Gaither, of Gladstone; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Joyce will be terribly missed by all of her family and friends.
To Wayne, from the rest of the family, We give our heart felt thanks for your loving care and devotion to our mother during her time of need! We also want to thank Carol and Tab for there help and support. We couldn’t have done it without you.
