Mary Loyd Mulkey was born January 8, 1928 in Quincy, MO, to Homer Lloyd and Ila Belle (Hudson) Raymond. She passed away February 11, 2013 at Cedar County Memorial Hospital, El Dorado Springs, MO.
Her early years were spent in the Quincy, MO area. She attended Weaubleau High School graduating in 1945.
Mary was united in marriage to Gene Mulkey on May 14, 1945. She and Gene operated Ranchcraft Homes in the Raytown, MO area for 26 years.
Mary loved to travel and went on many trips until her health failed. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Raytown, MO. Her church was a big part of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene in 1987. Mary is survived by three brothers, W. T. “Dub” Raymond, Osceola, MO, Roy Raymond, El Dorado Springs, MO, and Leon Raymond, Osceola, MO; and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Strahan, Weaubleau, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
