Robert Parker Eastin was born December 22, 1937 in Marshall, Missouri to Arthur Leonard and Mary Belle (Wilhite) Eastin. He passed away November 28, 2012 at his home.
Bob graduated from high school in Kansas City, MO. He honorably served his country in the US Army from July 20, 1953 through May 7, 1954.
On February 22, 1958 he was united in marriage to H. Ileene Kearney at the First Baptist Church in Kansas City, KS.
Bob moved his family to Osceola in 1965, having purchased Toalson Insurance Agency and operated Eastin Insurance until moving to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1996. Bob managed Naught-Naught Insurance Agency in Osage Beach, MO, retiring in 2002. He had many passions including his wife, kids, and fishing. He always found time for family, any one who needed him in business or personal, as well as Mr. Crappie and Ms. Bass. Bob committed 20 years to youth sports, coaching, managing and making league decisions were efforts in helping young men find and achieve their full potential. He also spent time volunteering for community groups including school board and the church he loved. Bob was a great man and will be missed by all that knew him.
Bob was preceded in death by his stillborn twin brother and his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ileene, of the home, three sons, Tim Eastin (Susan), Ozark, MO; Jim Eastin (Joely) and John Eastin, Ozark, MO, grandchildren, Zach, Mariah, Emily, Elizabeth, and Elayna, other relatives and many friends.
