Paul Gingerich was born October 8, 1945 in Chardon, Ohio to Jonas and Ada Gingerich. He passed away April 10, 2012 in Blackjack, Missouri surrounded by his family.
Paul was raised on a farm in Ohio. He married Susan Miller in 1966, and moved to Seymour, Missouri where they had a dairy farm for eleven years. They moved to Blackjack, Missouri in 1977, and loved the tightknit community there. He served as a pastor for thirty years. He started working in the construction industry 30 years ago and for the past 20 years has been the owner of Quality Buildings.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Susan, of 46 years; son Jerry Gingerich, his wife Jenni , and their 10 children of Phoenix, AZ; son Paul Gingerich, his wife Heidi, and their 4 children of Shaw Island, WA; daughters, Jennifer Beachy, her husband Phil , and their 5 children of Bonners Ferry, ID and Elizabeth Beachy, her husband Dennis, and their 4 children of Blackjack, MO. He also has 7 surviving siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Paul will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was known by all for his irrepressible sense of humor, his uncompromising honesty and his quiet, gentle, and caring spirit. His loving, compassionate heart endeared him to both young and old. His life was lived out of his devout faith, and his deep love for Jesus.
