Clara graduated from Englewood High School in Englewood, Colorado in May of 1947. She also enjoyed gardening, embroidery and crossword puzzles. She was an active member of Shell City Christian Church and also regularly attended First Christian Church in El Dorado Springs. She will be missed by all family and friends.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ferd Matzke; and her second husband, Holly Whiteside; and a brother, Donald Fox.

She is survived by her brother, Charles Fox (Ardell) of Ozark, Missouri; three daughters, Linda Reynolds, Terry Hampton (Danny), Sheri Vance (Robert); one son, Mike Matzke (Judy), all of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; a step daughter, Debbie Rypka (Matt) of Forestville, California; two stepsons, Stanley Whiteside (Cress) of Porterville, California, and Earl Whiteside (Tracy) of Harwood, Missouri; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
