After a long and full life, Clarence J. Prigmore passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on August 18, 2018 at the age of 93. He was born May 13, 1925 in Galena, Missouri to Clarence Prigmore and Ruth (Thornberry) Prigmore.
After returning to his home state of Missouri, Clarence, known to all his friends as Gabe, lived in Collins these last 20 years, enriching the lives of all who knew him.
Gabe was a veteran, having retired from the Army as master sergeant after 20 years of service to his country. His rich and varied life brought with it an abundance of experience gathered from having lived all over the globe. He was kind and always generous to share his knowledge; his counsel routinely sought by many, not limited to his four adult children whom he left behind.
Clarence was cremated under the direction of Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home and will be buried st Spring Valley Cemetery in Tipton Forge, Missouri at a later date. He will be sorely missed.
