Obituary
James “Bob” Irvin was born in Conway, Arkansas on February 4, 1957 to Johnny and Susie (Castile) Irvin. He passed away at home with family by his side on the afternoon of Sunday, July 30, 2017.

He grew up and spent his childhood in Arkansas where he met his first wife, Barbara Green. They were married in 1977 and had one son, Robbie Irvin.

In 1983 he married Sherrie Anders and they had two children, Johnathan and Joanie. They raised their family in Osceola, Missouri where they made many friends over the years. Everyone in town grew to know and love Bob and he became known as the town mechanic. In the early 90’s he joined Hilty Quarries as a heavy machine operator. He quickly earned the nickname Biscuit from a coworker who said he always got the gravy jobs. The nickname followed him everywhere in Osceola and the surrounding areas where he was a stranger to no one and a friend to all.

His grandsons, Noah and Kale, were blessed to know him as Papa and they were his pride and joy. Kale never knew the word overalls, they were always his “Papa Pants” and he loved to wear them to help Papa work on his tractors.

James was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Linda, brother David and two infant daughters, Bonnie and Jamie.

He is survived by his loving wife Sherrie of 33 years, son Robbie and wife Keri of Oklahoma, John and wife Stacey of Republic and daughter Joanie of Kansas City; siblings Wanda Pesce and husband Giuseppe of Italy, Ramona Aguilar and husband Bob of Arkansas, Wilma Henderson and husband Ralph of Arkansas, Rita Sullivan and husband Leland of Arkansas, Harold Irvin of Texarkana, Sandra Mayo and husband Steve of Missouri, Bobby Irvin and wife Dora of Arkansas, Angela Prado and husband Joe of Texas and Teri Johnson of Tennessee; grandsons Noah and Kale. Bob is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends that he considered family.
